Well, I just gave my boss my two months’ notice. My last day working in Hungary will be July 13th (Friday the 13th fittingly enough.) I’ll be heading back to the US shortly thereafter. Also, I have cut my hair, which was of rather considerable length, and buzzed it down to a #2. I’ll be sorry to leave Hungary, just as I was sorry to see all my hair go, but in the long run, both changes are for the better.

Well, I have finally started a blog with the help of my friend donzilla. I originally intended to start a blog to chronicle my adventures in Europe, which is rather ironic considering I came to Europe last October and have just decided to return to the United States at the end of the summer. I should probably tell a little bit about my travels, but I just don’t feel like it. To sum things up, I spent a couple months in Prague, went to Austria for Christmas, and have been in Hungary since January. It’s been a great experience, and I’ve learned a lot, but I’ll say more about that later. I hope to make the most of these last couple of months, and hopefully will be able to make it back to Prague one more time or see some of Western Europe, but we’ll see what the next couple of months bring. As far as my plans go for when I return to the U.S., I hope to get a job teaching high school somewhere, especially back in California. If nothing works out for this school year, I’ll live with my brother in Tallahassee and see if something works out for next year. Well, I will be posting more in the future, and we’ll see what happens until then.
